Effective June 8, 2022, overseas entrants to the Republic of Korea, regardless of vaccination history, are exempted from undergoing mandatory quarantine.
However, entrants must still present a negative COVID-19 test result (RT-PCR or supervised Rapid Antigen Test). Additional information can be found here: https://overseas.mofa.go.kr/ph-en/brd/m_3272/view.do?seq=760843&page=1
Entrants may still use the Q-code system established by the KDCA in order to shorten the time for quarantine inspection and avail of conveniences upon entry to the Republic of Korea.
Furthermore, those traveling for humanitarian reasons (attending a funeral), are eligible to secure a Quarantine Exemption Certificate to exempt them from submitting a negative COVID-19 test result.
For additional inquiries and updates on Korea’s COVID-19 measures, please contact the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency at +82-2-2163-5945 (In Korea, dial 1339, no region code).
